How Many Solar Panels Do You Need?

This kit is designed to run on a 1650W solar array (3 standard 550W panels wired together) at 72V DC. This is more than the motor’s own rating on purpose — it covers cloudy days, cable and controller losses, and less-than-perfect sun angles, so your pump still gets full power when it matters. Panel count is a general guideline based on 550W panels; using panels of a different wattage will change the number needed. Your installer or our team can confirm the exact setup for your site.

Choosing the Right 4SD Kit

The 4SD range covers a wide span of borehole depths and flow rates. This 4SD6/5 kit at 72V is rated for water levels up to about 59m and a flow of roughly 8 m³/h.
