Overview

The JSWM110 combo is a self-priming cast iron jet pump pre-assembled with an automatic flow controller. Jet pumps can lift water from a tank or shallow well that is lower than the pump (typically up to about 8m suction), which normal centrifugal pumps cannot do.

What is a booster combo? The pump comes pre-assembled with an automatic flow controller, wiring and a 3-point moulded plug – connect the pipes, plug it in and it runs by itself: the pump starts when you open a tap and stops when the flow stops.

Choosing the right booster pump: count the taps and showers that will run at the same time and how high the water must go (a double-storey house needs more head than a single storey). Each 10m of head is about 1 bar of pressure. Pick a pump whose head at your flow is comfortably above what you need. Not sure?
